Check out Boudoir Synema: The Great Mistapes, by J*DaVeY, more niceness from still pretty much my favourite band right now.  Still not quite sure of all the ins and outs of their record deal with Warner but you always got the feeling that a band as cool and forward thinking as J*D were always going to be at odds with a large corporate record label like Warner.
It is great to hear that JD have remained on their grind and have managed to keep creating the music I love.

In recent days the internet has been buzzing with yet another celebrity rumour which in itself is nothing new.  This particular bit of gossip however seems to have quickly gathered momentum amongst the Hip Hop community without many questioning it's validity.  It was reported widely that Asher Roth intended to come out publicly in an impending TV interview on the E! network.  My whole interest in this story was sparked by the many varied responses I witnessed.   It turns out this is yet another bit of hearsay and apparently nothing more with a representative for Roth's record label SRC releasing a statement on Sunday refuting all of the allegations.

"Asher Roth is not gay, and is not scheduled to be interviewed on the E! Channel," the statement reads. "Furthermore, Asher has not been dropped from SRC Records, and is a top priority at the label after having sold over a million copies his 'I Love College' single. Asher is currently working on his next album for SRC,"

This whole episode does raise many questions though as people were more inclined to buy into the hype this time.  If this had been true how badly would it have really affected the sales of an artist with major crossover appeal,  how much have a big deal would it have been if it were true?  Does anyone even care anymore what our rap stars do in their private lives?

I mean with all these shirtless middle aged MC's appearing all greased up in their videos is it really such a huge leap of the imagination?

If you didn't already know I'm a big fan of Fly-Lo's, as well as being a really talented and creative guy he's actually mad cool and down to earth.  Before we met in person earlier this year I had already hit him up on myspace like any random fan would and he replied within the hour which was unexpected and cemented my respect for the man (sometimes it's the small things that count)

I finally got around to watching 2012 recently despite many warnings from friends that it was beyond bad! I laughed my way through the action sequences and cringed at the presidential scenes but most of all I pondered the humanity of our species.

That's right folks, ya boy Steezy has being getting it in yet again with the remixes! Despite being on the road performing to sell out audiences around Europe with new Hip Hop Supergroup the Electric he alongside bandmates Dj Vadim and Pugs Atomz have turned out a really dope remix of Bassnectars track.

Ok 2 weeks in and it's conclusive, Beyonce is the undisputed champion!  In a hammer blow for real women everywhere B's curves trounced Gaga's stick thin frame in the dance off of the year, having already defeated Shakira in a sing off she succesfully moved unto her next opponent and victoriously shook what her momma gave her to show that real woman wins out over waif ever time!
The next scheduled event undoubtedly has to be a Fenty Vs. Knowles jello fight to the death, Don King, where you at fam?
